There are times where an anime starts off with a pretty strong start but then falls off to something completely unmemorable. "Itsuka Tenma No Kurousagi" is NOT a BAD anime per say, but it lacks anything to make it memorable...at least to the average viewer. There aren't a lot of characters to talk about in the series, and while that isn't a bad thing, its not good when you can't really remember many of them. Also, in my opinion, there really isn't much plot advancement at all during these 12 episodes, making this first season (if they're planning on more) a very questionable one.

Swimsuits = Everybody's a winner.

There aren't any memorable songs in "Itsuka Tenma No Kurousagi", at least to me. The one and only opening song is "Once" by Hitomi Harada, and its kind of an orchestral piece...not my type. The ending song, "Utsusemi" is ALSO a very strong orchestral song which doesn't tickle my fancy at all. Unfortunately this anime is a little bland song-wise.

Rating:6.5/10

I struggled to decide whether or not to give "Itsuka Tenma No Kurousagi" my 7.0 borderline score treatment. After tons of hard thinking and sorting out my thoughts, I decided that this anime was just not meant to be. It could have been something better, but seriously, this anime isn't anything memorable at ALL. They left a lot of things unanswered, and perhaps they were setting up for a second season (which I HIGHLY doubt), but there was just too much that could have been done, but wasn't. What's this rabbit dwelling in Taito? Who or WHAT was the being in Haruka? WHAT THE F**K ARE THEY TRYING TO DO?!? No epic battle in the end? No insane power up by Taito to beat up the nasty teacher? NOTHING?!!?

Please, we don't need more yanderes.

The sad main character starring in our anime this time is another high school kid named Taito. Taito has dreams remembering about a girl from his childhood by the name of Himea. He remembers spending time with her but never remembers how she left his life. One day after getting knocked over by a truck and surviving he remembers that he was cursed by Himea long time ago, and that he can die 6 times before really dieing with his 7th death. He also remembers that Himea sacrificed herself for him many years ago when they were attacked by a boy with extremely potent powers. Now that he and Himea are reunited after all these years, he has to protect and spend time with her yet again against the many forces of evil trying to obtain her power.

"Itsuka Tenma No Kurousagi" is a pretty good anime with a huge hole in it. Until that hole is filled up its pretty hard to look back on this anime on a happy note. There's just not much reason to watch this anime now, unless there is a sequel. In case you all don't know after all of that, I tried to like this anime, but I just couldn't.

Peace.
