Pervertic Post 13: 3D/CG Waifus

When it comes to having virtual waifus, you can't just stick to the world of 2D. The land of 3D/CG has plenty to offer when it comes to breeding beautiful, virtual women of all types, and it's today where I will dive into these 5 fabulous ladies in all their 3D/CG glory.

Stealing hearts since Tekken 5.

Name: Asuka Kazama
From: Tekken Series

Don't look down on this chick, this bountiful high school girl will kick your ass to and forth the street with ease. Asuka is pretty much the sexiest girl in the "Tekken" cast in my opinion, sporting an owl glass body with large breasts and sexy thighs. Her sleeveless attire and tight shirt only seem to further amplify her sexiness, and let's not forget about her win poses! Oo-la-la! And since we can dress our girls up in "Tekken" with a different bunch of outfits, its quite difficult to not get her on your list. Still, considering that "Tekken" has plenty of beauties (Alisa, Nina, Christie, Lili....among many others), it's really quite difficult to choose...

The one and only.

Name: Kasumi
From: Dead Or Alive Series

There's really not much to say about Kasumi, she's smoking hot ever since she made her debut. She's pretty much the face of the DOA franchise, showing up in every game since her debut. Let's not forget that she, alongside Ayane, are the 2 confirmed girls to appear in every "Dead Or Alive: Extreme" games, not only because they are sexy as hell, but because people would flip out in a fan service game without these 2. Kasumi is simply angelic, almost like a seductive angel that seduces you without knowing it. Let's not forget that in the latest DOA, you can pretty much put her in whatever outfit you want, ranging from kimonos to revealing dresses to swimsuits and even school uniforms.

Remake Lara is seriously sexy.

Name: Lara Croft
From: Tomb Raider (Remake)

Lara Croft has always been a super sexy pick and a definite waifu for many nerds around the world, especially in the old days. It's without a doubt that the old Lara was most definitely a bountiful bombshell with that ridiculously sexy body of hers, but the one I have to pick has got to be Lara from the more recent remakes. This Lara, while her body is not AS ridiculous, is sexy enough, and she's got a lot more expressive face that I can get behind. I also like that she's a through and through survivalist that guns the hell down of anyone in her way. New Lara definitely has more spunk to her, and I like that.

Girl you looking real fine.

Name: Isana
From: Knights Of Sidonia

Now Isana may be kind of a doozy here. Early into the series, Isana is introduced as a genderless character, a type of human that adapts to whatever gender he/she wants to be as they see fit. The thing is that when they choose a gender, they can no longer go back. As she develops feelings for Nagate, her body changes permanently to that of a female, and a smoking hot one at that. Sporting probably the biggest bust size among the students since her transformation and an hour glass body figure, Isana takes the cake for the hottest girl in the show. Also, she is so easily flustered, which is f**king amazing.

Any day now, we'll get to see her boobs pop out
of that insecure shirt. Any day now...

Name: Lady
From: Devil May Cry Series

It's really not too strange to see Lady on this list, is there? Ever since her appearance in DMC 3 it was seriously quite hard to chart her off as potential non-waifu material. Her appearance in DMC 4 finally sealed the deal, where we get to see her in all of her HD glory....and boy is she glorious. Scantily dressed in a revealing open shirt with belts and white, short shorts, this woman sure knows how to impress. Now it's only a matter of time before her eventual re-appearance again in a future title....

Opening Songs
OP 1 - Raise Your Flag (MAN WITH A MISSION)
OP 2 - Survivor (Blue Encount)

Ending Songs
ED 1 - Orphan's Tears (MISIA)
ED 2 - Bonds Of Blood And Iron (TRUE)

Genre: Action, Drama, Science Fiction

Episodes: 24

Ah, here we go. FINALLY, a true and true "Gundam" series that managed to suck me back into this one hell of a ridiculous franchise. I'll be honest, the only "Gundam" that I watched and finished before this was one freaking "Gundam SEED" and its sequel, "SEED Destiny", so I've been out of the loop for a long, LONG time. "Double 0" didn't really appeal to me and I dropped it halfway back in 2008 when I was still a wee teenager. So in a way, it was only 8 years later in 2016 that I went ahead and watched "Iron Blooded Orphans", because this one seemed like it had potential. And believe or not, I actually liked this one. Some complained that this one was too dark and serious...but let's all be honest here. Do we REALLY want another season of "Build Fighters"? Because I sure as hell don't. Or how about "Reconguista G"?! Huh?! YOU WANT ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE?!!

Whatever she wears, Kudelia is bae material. Even if its
Selveria's sexy ass outfit.

When it comes to opening themes, I believe "Iron Blooded Orphans" has some of the best themes of 2015-2016. It's two opening themes are top notch, especially the first one, "Raise Your Flag" by MAN WITH A MISSION. It's techno-rock awesomeness literally makes my ears tingle with glee, and I can't stop headbanging during the chorus segments. If any flags were raised during the opening segment, its my hype flags, that's for sure. The second opening theme, "Survivor" by Blue Encount is pretty good as well, its nowhere near the level of "Raise Your Flag", but its fast paced and hype inducing, which what you'd be looking for in an opening theme.

Rating: 8.0/10

I really enjoyed the show when it comes to the first season of "Iron Blooded Orphans". As the title suggests, putting the bleak world of "Gundam" in the viewpoint of children war slaves is quite a cruel and harsh thing to do. It's this very same viewpoint that makes the show slightly more fresh than those from before in the franchise. The story is simple, but most of the characters are strong and very well portrayed here...with the exception of our protagonist, which is a damned shame. The entire show's progression was well done, and since this IS "Gundam" after all, most of the mech battles are very well done. Sound design was amazing, and the battle choreography was top notch for the most part. When it comes to the DESIGNS of the mechs though, I didn't quite like the path they were taking here, other than a few of the robots, most of the others looked quite plain and generic. Also, it kind of disturbed me that the good guys were always winning (there are maybe only 1 or 2 really dangerous baddies here). They just had to diagnose Mikazuchi with the Tatsuya syndrome, didn't they? He is ridiculously broken, so much so that no battle ever feels like a challenge, maybe with the exception of the last one.

Now this is why we watch Gundam.

The calamity war has longed passed, and now, Princess Kudelia is trying to repair relationships between mars and Earth. Being the symbol of hope of peace, she is the greatest face that one can ever hope to see on their side. Meanwhile, a group of war orphans are going on their lives as per usual, living under some adults trying to abuse them. Leader of the orphan group Orga, stages a rebellion to overthrow their overlords. With him are his best friends, friends so close that he can call them his brothers, among them are protagonist Mikazuchi and smart guy biscuit. They stage a revolt and overthrow the government, all while awakening a mobile suit that was hidden underneath their base all the time. Mikazuchi pilots said moble suit, the Gundam Barbatos. After their successful overthrow, Orga renames their band into the "Tekkadan", and he jumps himself onto a ship to aid Kudelia to bring peace to the nations.

With season 2 on air now, I can only wait for the time that I eventually get to sink my teeth into the conclusion of this series. So far, I do quite like it, and after how the first season concluded, I can only imagine that things are going to change for our heroes. Let's see how things actually turn out.

Opening Songs
OP 1 - Insecure God (Suara)
OP 2 - Star Hanging In The Heavens (Suara)

Ending Songs
ED 1 - Feeling As If In A Dream (Suara)
ED 2 - Looking Up At A Sky Full Of Stars (Suara)

Genre: Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy

Episodes: 25

Ah, "Utawarerumono". A long forgotten franchise of ages long past, who would have known that they would decide to actually do a follow up to that show. The original was one of the earlier generation harems that was actually pretty damned good, it told a story of war and battle, alongside throwing us the convenient typical harem affairs with its abundant cast of lovely ladies. I watched it a long time ago, but it somehow faded away deep into the fragments of my memory...since it was such a long ass time ago. Now, fast forward to late 2015-2016, we have supposedly another season that's not exactly a direct sequel. It features very few of our cast from the original, and instead puts us in the shoes of brand new characters. How does this new entry compare to the previous powerhouse that was released a good 10 years ago?

Kuon is love, Kuon is life.

We have Suara as a one woman army here taking on all the theme songs in the show. The opening songs are "Insecure God" and "Star Hanging In The Heaven". The ending songs are "Feeling As If In A Dream" and "Looking Up At A Sky Full Of Stars". Honestly, Suara's not exactly a singer who does high energy tension type songs, so these aren't all that amazing to me, especially the ending themes. "Insecure God" is pretty slow, so the song that takes the cake here is most definitely the second opening theme "Star Hanging In The Heaven". Its slightly fast and sounds a little bit catchy, especially with the badass opening animations.

Rating: 7.5/10

If I were to review the older "Utawarerumono", I would have very easily given it an 8 or 8.5 back in the day because of the serious tone that it provides despite being a harem. Now, "False Faces" is very much a different kind of show than the original was, mind you, go into it expecting that. Even if you are a hardcore fan of the original, know that this is NOT the same show, and its really not close. The premise of both shows are kind of different, and in more ways than one, "False Faces" is mostly a light-hearted and easy-going show until towards the final 5-6 episodes, and only in those episodes does the show really pick up the pace for its climax arc. Before that, its really very easy-going for our main cast (minus the origin episodes, which are pretty good), and there's not much at stake to worry about. Still, even as that, the show does work quite well, with its new cast of quirky and funny characters. Also, Haku is a damned good protagonist in my opinion. Not some wimpy high school kid who gets nervous around girls and clumsily gropes them, this man is a boss. The show would definitely suffer without him IMO. Instead of having a man plan out mission after mission in a warring era, we now have a lazy errand boy who's too smart for the tasks he has been given.

Haku really doesn't care all that much about his tailed girls.

Having a similar start to the original, "False Faces" follows the fate of an unknown, amnesiac man who wakes up in a snow forest with no recollection of anything. He is chased down by a spirit and almost killed, but he is saved by a travelling young woman called Kuon. Seeing as how she's pretty much his savior and he has nothing to live for a the moment, she decides to "adopt" him, and gives him the name Haku. Haku is given certain jobs around a nearby town, though he is extremely unfit for physical labor unlike the rest of the tailed citizens, he makes up for it with wit and intellect. He is able to solve problems nobody can, and before he knew it, he was noticed by Sakon, a leader for a wandering mercenary band. Together with Haku, Sakon takes the both of them to the city, where he finds himself in a complicated situation of having to live off odd jobs just to sustain himself. Here, he meets a ton of other individuals who help brighten up, or in some cases, worsen his daily, simply life that he wishes to enjoy.

"False Faces" actually ends on a rather sour note, pretty much sequel-baiting itself. There's most definitely gotta be a second season so this to resolve the situation left hanging between Kuon and Haku, or else I'm gonna be one sad panda. Well, for the eventual impending second season, I can only hope they bring back more of the older characters, and probably even Hakuoro and Eruru. Well, one can only hope.
