gamespot score:9.0(editor's choice)

my score:8.8

(+)pros:-all 3 races in the game are extremely fun to play,- 3 fully lengthed campiagns each with thier own story,-battle strategy can get really in depth,- incredibly diverese unit and structure designs,- overly balanced AI,- great multiplayer.

(-)cons:- you can build an infinite amount of everything,- scrin is superbly overpowered.

gameplay time:50 hours+(long)

Alright time for one of the most fun and diverse real time strategy games ever made. Command and conquer 3 is THE strategy game for the PC, almost on par with dawn of war:dark crusade, it is probably one of the best RTS games ever made. EVER MADE. It probably owns command and conquer 4, though I never played that, a few screenshots and gameplay vids told me it was shit. I have been playing this for awhile but I have never seemed to reach the level of all those online bastards. Damn. Okay, lets get on with it.

Command and conquer 3 had 3 different story viewpoints, of which all are great. Each race has thier own campaign. The GDI which battles with the NOD, the NOD which battles against the GDI, and the scrin who just want to invade earth for thier tiberium. All 3 campaigns are lenghty, each lasting more than 10 hours. Plus, cutscenes before missions are well made with REAL HUMAN ACTING. Awesome. This can easily show how much effort they put in making the campaign.

See? I told you. As a real time strategy game command and conquer has almost anything, ranging from 3 diverse campaigns, to solid skirmish games and suberb multiplayer. Plus, all 3 playable races are fun to use. The only issue is that scrin is a tad bit more overpowered. More on that later. There are plenty of options to make this game play according to your liking too. Also, for the campaigns, you can play both either NOD or GDI at the start. GDI if you're feeling normal, NOD if you're feeling really evil. Plus kane makes a good boss.

Gameplay for command and conquer 3 rocks. It plays just like any other RTS game, but it makes things much more awesome. If you've pplayed other C&Cs, this game's mechanics should seem rather familiar, from the game's unit building mechanics, to the super weapons. Yeah you start with a HQ, you start building shit like barracks, armory and so on. And later on, you start building an attack force to go raid your enemies. Each race has thier own specialty. GDI is best at busting enemy bases head on by marching in through the front door, guns blazing. With thier predator tanks, juggernauts and the overlords, they can run over most enemy units. NOD prefers to play more strategically, with stealth tanks, stealth teams and many other diverse playing units, NOD is best at sabotaging the enemy, and always getting away with it. Basically they are my favourite race, the stealth theams are just to fun to play with. Finally the scrin, they specialise in aircraft. One thing though, they are hell good at it, storm riders are friggin gey, devastators are annoyingly powerful bastards, and planetary assualt carriers are pure monsters. Whats more, thier special mothership unit blasts bases like thier nothing. As said all 3 races are great, but scrin is a little overpowered.

Like many of the other games in the franchise, C&C 3 has infinite pop. If you want to know what that means, it means you can build an infinite amount of units. Now I really dont like this, you can just build all the shit you want and attack your enemy. Unlike dawn of war or warcraft where your unit population is limited, you can build infinite amounts here. Thats not very stragetic, its basically spamming of the same units over and over, and that sucks. Especially for scrin, planetary planet destroyer over and over.... wth man.
-
Basically C&C 3 is an awesome game. They need'nt have to make scrin so damn strong though. Other than that, the rest of this game is great, especially the campaign. 5 Stars for that. My verdict is that this is an awesome RTS that is 100% worth playing. Dont play 4, just play 3, its that much better in almost every way.

Happy gaming.

The best of Djmax

Sup. The hype of djmax portable 3 being released still hasnt disappeared within me, even after a month or so. I have been djmaxing alot recently and Im making a list, of the best djmax songs from each of the games. Heres to hoping some of them make it to djmax portable 3, not all of course. Make a note that I do like hamsin and divine service, but since they made it in black square I wont include them in. There are no repeats in this list, and the songs are in alphabetical order, and not in my positioning.

Here we go.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Best of portable 1

.
.
Chrono breakers
Nien
Awesome song. I really think its an anime opening, looking at the MV and all. Probably the best vocaled song in djmax portable 1. Nien rocks shit.

.

.
.
.
.
Let's go baby
forte escape?
One of my 1st and favourite songs. Let's go baby is slow, hip hop, with some nice vocals. Not sure about composer but I assume its forte escape.

.
.
SIN
Esti
An epic piece of music with an epic MV. Theres a reason why it got ported over to clazziquai edition with a HD re-edited MV.

.
.
.
SIN ~The last scene~
Esti
Well looks like esti went and took SIN, already an epic piece, and made it into something even more epic. SIN ~The last scene~ is my favourite song for portable 1, and will always be. Plus its extremely hard to play.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.
Best of portable 2

.
.
Good bye
Ruby tuesday
Got hooked the moment I played it. Great vocals and a good beat, I really got into this song. You may not believe it but I find this on par with your own miracle.

.
.
Hello pinky
Nien
By Nien? Really. But ah well the vocals for this song is done by a female vocalist, which is of course more fitting for a song such as this. An addictingly cheerful song that tempts you to play it everytime you hear its preview when scrolling through it.

.
.
Memoirs
M2U
Favourite song in portable 2. No contest. I had over 300 plays for this song alone, and I think over 200 plays in trilogy. Even after like 500 plays I find this song great. Vocals and beats of this song makes you feel epic everytime you play it, especially at the end.

.
.
.
Minus 3
Croove
An upsized version of outlaw minus the vocals and with double badasstitude. Minus 3 is probably one of the songs you will unlock last in portable 2, and boy how satisfying it is when you play it, since its a great piece of music. Crazy beats plus cool MV equals win.

.
.
.
Nightmare
M2U
The "in" song in portable 2. I think this was in forums everywhere. Nightmare was, indeed, a masterpiece. Even after being in black square I dont mind this being in portable 3 too. Nightmare is a piece of insanely fast music that is incredibly fun to play. Plus its fking challenging.

.
.
.
Syriana
Bexter
Syriana is great. Another song that had over 200 plays for me. Heard it was in clazzi, but I didnt know how to unlock it. Probably my favourite song from bexter. This is also a BGM song for a stage in S4 league.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.
Best of portable-clazziquai edition

.
.
.
Electronics
Dj clazzi
I'm not really a fan of dj clazzi's work, but electronics is just great. Its a captivating piece of music that just keeps you playing it over and over. Probably the only nice song from dj clazzi,

.
.
.
.
First kiss
BJJ
Oh may god. Best song from clazzi, no contest. Awesome vocals, beautiful MV and the rest of the song is probably so awesome. I'll call this one a masterpiece, I swear I will. It even went to trilogy, sweet.

.
.
.
Hard to start
Saree?
Another sweet song. Its mostly the MV, but the song makes you bounce along with it. The 4 cherries are so damn cute and chubby, so are the vocals. Not too sure about the composers, but Im pretty sure it starts with Sa something.

.
.
The clear blue sky
Tsukasa
I thought this was was the best song in clazzi when I 1st played it. Anyways, this is is still a great song that will captivate almost everyone on 1st play. And somehow I find the MV quite meaningful, somehow.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best of portable-black square

.
.
Colours of sorrow
Tsukasa
What else to say? Colours of sorrow is a sad song, but still it has solid beats and a cool rhytm, plus great vocals to boot. This is a great song.

.
.
.
Desperado
Croove
Probably the 1st song the cursor will be on when you 1st start black square. A great rapping song that is somewhat similar to outlaw but with more "speed" mixed into the rhytm. 100% worth the play.

.
.
Fury
Sugar donut
Possibly the best, if not, one of the best vocaled songs in black square. Then again this is becuase I love rock, so this can be a little bit biased. But bleh, most will think this song rocks nevertheless.

.
.
I want you
Lin-G
Favourite song in black square. The vocals were just too amazing, combine it with the MV and you've got one hell of an addicting song. This was in clazzi too, but Im stating it for black square. This song is a masterpiece.
.

.
.
.
Space of soul
M2U
Supposedly this is the song that made M2U famous back in the online days. Anyway, with a remade and reimproved MV, this song is really imba to play, and still a great piece overall.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best of trilogy

.
.
.
Feel
KElrare
One of the best songs in the whole of trilogy. It has an addicting beat and a cool rhytm. The vocals are also quite captivating.

.
.
.
Let go
xxdbxx
Great rapping feat makes let go a cool ass song. Dont compare it to fever's hip hop rescue, they arent even on the same level! The original let go is the bomb and beats great rapping songs like JBG.

.
.
Zet
Bexter
Another great piece by bexter. This compares to syriana, which means its a god tier song. Oh yeah, its also a BGM for the tunnel map in S4 league.
.
Unfortunately I dont have a pic for my favourite trilogy song, ventilator. Its an awesome piece of music with a badass MV of 2 stickman fighting with epic moves and skills. Its godamn awesome its too bad I dont have a pic.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So you've seen it folks, the best of Djmax. This took quite a while to get up, and its all self opinion, so it might not be on favour with some others.
.
What a friggin long and tiring post. C&C 3 review coming soon. And I hope all people out there are as hyped for djmax portable 3 as I am. SWEETNESS.
.
Peace.

gamespot score:6.0(fair)

my score:7.3

(+)pros:-encourages lots and lots of stragetic play,- interesting characters,- many playthrough routes available,- destiny plume invoking helps in a pinch,- multiple endings.

(-)cons:- gameplay mechanics including siege attacks are hard to learn,- too hard,- battles take hell a long time to conclude.

gameplay time: 30-40 hours (above average)

Yoyo. Today Im doing valkyrie profile:covenant of the plume. Cleared it for quite awhile, so I may not remember every exact bit of the story details. Anyway, I did find gamespot rather harsh on this one. 6.0? Give square a break, it wasnt too bad. Though I have to agree this is a step down from valkyrie profile: lenneth for PSP. Never played silmeria though, couldnt find it at the time. Anyway here we go.

Covenant of the plume has a pretty good plot, though it doesnt quite match up to that of profile: lenneth. It speaks of a male protoganist, wylfred, though he is usually called wyll. Anyway wyll's father was one of the chosen, as in chosen by the valkyrie, lenneth. Apparently he isnt happy about it, since his father's selection means no work for the family, which led to the death of his sister due to lack of food. So he apparently curses the valkyrie. So one day he goes to join up in the mercenary with his best friend ancel. So they are one day attacked by a vast amount of monsters. Failing to keep up with the enemies, he is slayed and given another chance to live by the queen of hell, she also gives him the ability to invoke the plume, to give someone insane power, but makes him or her die after that. Needless to say he uses it on ancel in an upcoming battle, and his best friend is thus lost. With the death of his friend and the power to invoke the plume, he sets off his journey to battle against the valkyrie.

Covenant of the plume has some interesting battle mechanics. It runs by valkyrie profile: lenneth's play style in battle, with up to 4 combatants to chain up the combo and perform finishers. Except this time they put a little strategic twist to it, by adding turn by turn stragetic elements. Thus covenant of the plume is a strategic RPG hybrid following the old battle rules. This isnt bad, its kinda interesting. But still, there are still issues. In fact the only issues with the game come from battle. Well on to them.

So yeah before you head into battle, you go into towns and such to stock up on armor and tirgger event scenes. Triggered event scenes usually lead to battle, and thats where the stuff happens. In battles, the fights run as I said above. To engage an enemy in the classic battle system, 1st you have to send any number of your 4 units to surround the enemy, then have the last one to reach there attack the enemy. If you have 4 units around the enemy, battle takes place like previous games, 4 on 1. But if you send any less, then you only get that amount fighting. This kinda sucks and you have to probably wait for an enemy to come by and let all 4 gang up on the poor fella. If you so dare to fight one on one with the fella you are in for some dip shit, since enemies have collosal stats and are a pain to kill. This makes the game hard and unfair, your enemies are near godly, and you need to gang up on them. That means battles can take hours too. What a pain.

Aside from all that, learning the basics in battle arent as easy as you think. Before you jump into all that whatsnot, you need to learn about the complicated starting mechanics. All the nonsense about siege attacks and stuff are complicated as hell. Its kinda hard to understand what the game is trying to make out with the rules in battle, even at the start. Whats more with you trying to grasp the going ons in battle the enemies are already to strong then, making things...... annoying.
.
Overall the game itself is good. But it doesnt stand up quite as well as the predusuccors in terms of almost everything. The difficulty can get extremely annoying but if you're one to suck it up and play like a pro, you can take this. I kinda flunked this caused I got the freya ending...but hell.

Happy gaming.

Okay, top 5 villians today are from video games. Whoo. Apparently I have more knowledge in video game villians than anime, since...well they are more easily noticable. Plus, there are so many badass gaming villians that theres almost no reason not to remember them. There are spoilers so be warned.

5.Brahms

From: valkyrie profile:lenneth

Lets start it off with brahms. If you dont know brahms he's from valkyrie profile: lenneth. He's cool, he owns his very own castle, which is an explorable dungeon in the game itself, with monsters, treasures and crap.

In fact, most wont be seeing brahms for awhile. Supposedly an enemy of valhala, if you dont explore his castle and fight him, you wont see him until the very last chapter. Also, he's a tough fight, probably one you wont win for your 1st time against him, he and his deadly fists will pound you to kingdom come. PLUS, he can only be harmed by magic.

What makes him cool? Duh, he's a king of a godamn castle, waiting to be defeated. He is optional to beat, but in the end to fight the dark valkyrie( bitchy loser), he joins up with the heroes to beat her down. Then later( if you're playing hard mode), you get to beat him again in seraphic gate! In which he is even stronger.

4.Garland
From: final fantasy 1

The dissidia garland is almost a wuss. Dont count him in, he's still pretty cool and all but my main focus today is the garland from the old school final fantasy 1.

Garland in final fantasy 1 is a cool guy. Persistant, very persistant, but still cool. Believe me in final fantasy 1 he probably looks like a normal big sized knight when you look at his sprite, but he is acutally much more badass. Just look at his dissidia counterpart, inter-changeable swords, who would have thought?

Well what did he do? Not much, but they are significant in the story of FF 1. 1st, he gave the 4 warriors of light thier stepping stone, being the 1st boss, he kidnapped a princcess and the warriors are forced to beat him to rescue her. Hes not too hard believe me, but later in the end game, he appears again! WTF? Wasnt he dead all the way back at the beginning of the game? Think again loser. Gaarland transforms into chaos, the last boss. Yes you didnt hear wrong. Garland is both the 1st, and the last boss, who would have thoought?

3. Frank fontaine( atlas)
From: bioshock
Anyone would have seen this coming. Frank fontaine is one evil evil son of a bitch. And one that you wouldnt have even suspected too. I swear the 1st reaction one will have after discovering atlas's true identity would go wtf.
.
Frank fontaine is atlas, the nice friendly voice that helped you through more than half , or 3/4 of the whole game. He has been giving you tips, going where to go, who to kill, how to kill him, what to do...and so on. And look at that, he only helped you to USE you, to kill andrew ryan, founder of rapture.
.
You can already see why he's bad, an asshole who uses you and pretends to be your savior. Then he tries to kill you after you found out who he is. And after revealing who he is and what you are and why he brought you to rapture....you will think hes a one bad asshole. Fontaine is one fucked up, cool and twisted video game villian.

2. Demons' souls skeletons
From: demons' souls

This isnt really someone. Its rather a category. Anyway, number 2 on the list today are the skeletons from demons' souls.

Why are they even here? Well anyone whos played the game would know how much they have tortured you, during your 1st few plays. They are merciless dogs who never let up, not even letting you escape. I would rather kill adjudicators than kill more and more of these pipe sized freaks.

What did they do to receive 2nd here? Well obviously for not giving you any mercy. They are probably one of the most difficult non-boss enemies ever to be made in video gaming history. Merciless chasing speed, hard to read attacks, insane damage....they are an evil evil bunch. Beware...the black katana skeleton.....

1. Matt engarde

from: phoenix wright: ace attorney-justice for all

.

1st off, matt engarde is one badass faggot. What he did in the last case for ace attorney JFA was really mind blowing, and really sets off for one to think of his badasstitude.

.

Matt is really evil. if you havent played the last case of justice for all, dont look here. Seriously what he does is really cool and no one should spoil it. Matt is your client for the last case in JFA, and like all previous cases, you are to prove your client innocent. You are to prove matt innocent. Well at the start hes like all okay Im innocent, even phoenix's magmata couldnt detect his lies, saying that he isnt hiding anything.

.

After venturing deeper into the case and learning more about engarde's past, the confrontation begins, engarde, knowing that he can no longer hide, decicdes to show his true self. Which is, of course a badass motherfucker. And since he has maya under wraps, phoenix cant do shit but still fight for his innocence. Engarde is a real faggot, and it takes evven edgeworth to help take him down, or shall I say almost the entire JFA cast helped phoenix in getting engarde the guilty slip, and get maya safe as well.

.

More to come, peace.

god of war collection

Gamespot score:n/a

my score:8.9 (9.0 +8.8/2=8.9)

(+)Pros:- 2 games for the price of 1,- 2 great PS2 classics made into a single PS3 game,- both games remastered in HD graphics.

(+)cons:- arent great compared to other PS3 games in terms of graphics.

gameplay time:10-20 hours( below average)

Two phenomenal PS2 classics, one PS3 game. One angry spartan, 20 hours of endless killing. Welcome to god of war collection, a PS3 game with two god of war games inside, both remastered in HD graphics to be played on the PS3. God of war collection is an insanely good buy if you havent played either of the god of war games, even if you did it would be awesome to play both of them in HD graphics. And, its cheap! 2 games for the price of one. Plus each god of war has its own set of trophies. Nice.
Now, on to the reviews!

Gamespot score:9.3( editor's choice)

my score:9.0

(+)pros:- amazingly fun and addictive combat,- loads of different enemies each with thier own amazing death move performed by kratos,- little but fun boss fights,- amazing story with detailed character backgrounds,- loads of great combos and spells,- puzzle and problem solving add variety.

(-)cons:- combat relies heavily on button mashing.

gameplay time: less than 10 hours( short)

Okay god of war, an awesome game consideredto be a PS2 classic. A classic indeed, didnt play this until I got god of war collection. Great game one of the best action adventure games I have played. With problem and puzzle solving added to the mix its really a game of variety that almost any action loving gamer can enjoy. Part of the god of war collection and has its own set of trophies, like its other counterpart in the collection.

God of war has an awesome story. It really explains a lot about kratos and his past time background. There is a lot of character progression and it all fully develops into how the game is at that very moment. The game puts kratos at the start of the game falling deep down a cliff into the ocean, attempting suicide...and then goes to explain his past unto why he wants to kill himself. It all lays out perfectly, and kratos does a lot of killing before you get to understand the entire piece of this great story.

Gameplay in god of war is really simple. You mash your way through things most of the time. Square is for your light attack. Triangle is for your heavy attack. X is for jumping and circle is for grappling enemies. Then you get your L1, L2,R1 and R2 for other stuff like spells skills and etc. It doesnt sound really complicated, and it really isnt, this makes god of war and extremely simplistic action adventure game thats a lot of fun. Yeah thats right even though the game is easy to understand and get into its still a lot of fun so dun let that simplistic moveset get you down.

God of war is a sweet sweet game. In addition to playing as a spartan who likes to slash around like a madass, you get spells too. Since kratos is figthing for the gods, he has the gods ending up helping him, giving him moves that no mere mortal could ever pull off. His blades combos are already devasting, combined with his spells, kratos is the ultimate killing machine. From poseidon he gets a raging lightning attack that blows all enemies away. He also gets medusa's gaze, turning enemies to stone. From zeus he gets lightning bolts. And finally from hades he gets to summon souls of the dead to aid him in combat. He also gets a secondary weapon, the blades of artemis, which is a great sword that cleaves almost everything in his way. Cool shit man, cool shit. These add to the insanely satisfying enemy death sequences that following. Even the awesome bosses get thier own epic death scenes.

What more to pull this game down? Actually, there really isnt anything to pull it down. Other than the shallow combat god of war is pure awesomeness. Sure the 2nd one got a cliff hanger ending and all which was ridiculous, but god of war 1 is a perfect masterpiece all in all. Dont let the shallow combat get to you, if you want to spice things up go play hard mode or something since its basically harder and you need more strategy to beat enemies, other than random button mashing all the way.
My final words? God of war= cool. Kratos= badass. Too bad he's bald, he should go grow some hair. This in gamespot's book is the best god of war out there, and until I play 3, I must say this is better than 2. A worthy addition to the trilogy.
Happy gaming.

Gamespot score:9.2(editor's choice)

my score:8.8

(+)pros:- great slashing fun,- awesome enemy design,- great enemy killing animations,- boss fights are cool,- nice array of skills and spells available,- has nice balance of puzzle and problem solving mixed into the good killing fun,-great story

(-)cons:-combat in easy and normal mode mainly consists of button mashing,- cliff hanger ending.

gameplay time: less than 10 hours( short)

Like god of war 1 god of war 2 plays almost the same. They are both similar in terms of gameplay, so there really isnt much to say for difference. Still you cant blame sony since well if they change the combat style the game wont be as fun. Well lets get on with it, kratos is angry!!

God of war 2's story is as awesome as the 1st game. Its takes place after the events of 1 obviously, kratos is now the god of war! And hes prepared to kill some shit. After the starting game events zeus betrays kratos and stirps him of his god-hood. That bastard. Zeus must pay! And thats what kratos did. The whole game drives on kratos wanting to kill zeus for what he did to him, which was bloody fucked up. Zeus deserves to die, seriously. On his insane journey for revenge kratos goes through temples, ruins, and many other shit, meeting others and killing some, which is awesome.

God of war 2's combat style is the same as god of war 1.You spam your combos all around to kill high healthed enemies and then finish them of with an all so stylish grapping finisher move that is always awesome to see. Being an action adventure game god of war 2 really satisfies, same as the 1st, but not as much, more on that later.

God of war 2 really tries to make it as entertaining as its preduseccor, and it succeeded. God of war 2 took out most of kratos's skills and spells, and gave him new ones. Good thing is all the new skills are nice, just like god of war one. Kratos has gained the use of a bow, to summon thunder balls to shock his enemies( poseidon's rage clone), to cause eathquakes that swallow enemies like nothing. All of kratos's blade combos are also rewritten. He's missing many if not all of his previous game combos. But like his spells his new combos still strike as awe. And instead of the blade of artemis he's gained an awesome spear and a crazily huge barbarian hammer. Cool shit eh?

God of war 2 still has its cons. Like god of war 1, the combat is mainly button mashing, which is...well, nothing much. Anyone can button mash. Same old same old, and you can just wipe out huge mobs by spell spamming. As I said, nothing much, the combat is still not really in depth. Another flaw in this game is the cliff hanger ending. No spoilers from me here but I gotta say it just leaves you wanting a god of war 3( which is already released).

Now then god of war 2 is a great continuation of god of war 1 and is as worthy to the franchise as any of the games in the series. Being part of god of war collection one can still enjoy this great PS2 classic that would not be forgetten even after a long long time.

.

Happy gaming.

gran turismo

Gamespot score:7.5(good)

my score:7.7

(+)pros:-many different cars and brands to choose from,- plenty of race tracks to test your skills on, - competitive AI,- great with friends or other players to enjoy with, - can last you for quite some time.

(-)cons:-local network has some bugs,- no story or career mode,-only 4 racers per map.

gameplay time: 30-40 hours( above average)

Wow godammit the new blogge sucks shit. Blogger is such a fuckking douche bag, I had so much problems that I took over an hour to get this post up. Faggots. Anyway.... today Im posting again, got really nothing much to do... even though its the term break. Well today' post is gran turismo on the PSP, should be quite well known. Gran turismo has been around for a long time now, since the PS1 days. I used to play gran turismo 2 on the PS1 oh so long ago when I was a little kid, kept losing to my dad in 2 player mode. And why did I get this? Well it looked like a decent racing game, and well its on the PSP so that means racing 24/7 anywhere you want. So, here it is.

Gran turismo has 1 disappointing flaw, no story. Or for games such as this, no career mode. Quite disappointing, but then again, not really, for a racing sim such as this I cant complain much. But really, could it kill to add more content through a career mode? Im sure it would be quite fun and a rather good way to kill time. I guess SCEA is just lazy huh.

Gran turismo is a good racer, and isn't very hard to understand. It doesnt take too long for someone who picks this up to get hooked and start racing day after day. Who can blame them, theres alot to do here, ranging from buying cars to add to thier awesome collection, to playing different modes from so many different maps to set records. Theres really alot going on here, even with no career mode. You get 3 available modes to do PER map, and theres ALOT of maps out there, believe me, and they are all available from the get go. Cool right? Plus, drifting mode is cool shit.

Racing in gran turismo is good fun. You pit yourself against AI racers and try to overtake them for the 1st position and get as much credits as possible, to buy more cars of course, since theres always space available in your collection for more cars. Racing against AI is pretty cool, since the AI cars always end up being the same standard or better than the one you are using. This sets things up pretty good, making things rather competitive. A game where you can just use good cars to trash lousy cars and earn credits are just no fun. During racing though theres this blue line throughout the track that players should follow, to get them around the map the easiest way possible. This however, can be turned off, since some players will prefer to use thier own ways around the track. But this can help lots of beginners who dont know whats going on, which is cool. The only fucked up thing about all this, is that there are only 4 AI racers, thats quite little. Even for ad hoc, you can only connect up to 4 players. Bleh.

Gran turismo's best feature comes in here, the vast selection of cars. Everytime a day in the game pasts, your dealers change, letting you buy new cars every day. Theres ALOT of dealers to buy from, honda, toyota, mazda, subaru...there are even some where people havent heard of, such as blitz. Here where you burn all your credits, since the prices of cars range from cheap, to totally insane. Not all cars however, serve you well. Some cars, even those insanely expensive ones, cant equip dirt or snow tracks, which means you cant race all maps with them. Another bummer is, even though sometimes your car is totally expensive, badass looking, and full of horse power, it sometimes can even lose to a cheap ass mini van car in ad hoc mode. Ad hoc mode has some rare, but very obvious and retarded bugs, such as supreme car slowdowns, these turns people off most of the time, and you cant fix it, sorry.

Gran turismo is a good racing game with lots of stuff to do and unlock. It has fun adhoc mode but has some unavoidable bugs that sometimes spoil your game. Though there are other factors that limit gran turismo from being an even better game, its an already good game overall.

Happy gaming.
